Join a small, focused team solving hard problems in networking, cryptography, and distributed systems.
IX Bond is a small, focused team building enterprise-grade mesh VPN software. We are remote-first, engineering-driven, and obsessed with getting the details right. We believe that secure networking should be accessible to every organization, and we are building the tools to make that happen.
Work from anywhere. We're distributed across time zones and trust you to manage your schedule.
Long-form writing over quick chats. We document decisions and share context in writing.
Meetings are a last resort. We default to async and reserve sync time for complex discussions.
Built on WireGuard. We contribute upstream, share knowledge publicly, and value transparency.
Dedicated learning budget. We encourage exploration, experimentation, and deep technical growth.
Meaningful ownership stake with transparent vesting
Take what you need. We track minimums, not maximums.

5 roles currently open across engineering, security, and product.
Build core mesh networking, relay servers, and the control plane in Go. You will work on WireGuard coordination, distributed state management, and high-performance networking code that runs on thousands of nodes.
Work on WireGuard integration, iptables automation, NAT traversal, and cross-platform agent development. Deep Linux networking knowledge required. Experience with netlink, nftables, and kernel modules is a strong plus.
Design and implement ZTNA, DLP, device posture enforcement, and certificate management features. You will define the security architecture for enterprise customers in regulated industries.
Write documentation, API references, tutorials, and blog posts for developers and network engineers. You will turn complex networking concepts into clear, actionable guides that help teams adopt IX Bond.
Build the IX Bond developer community. Create demos, speak at conferences, write technical content, and maintain our open-source integrations. You will be the bridge between our engineering team and the developers who use IX Bond.
We are always looking for exceptional people. If you are passionate about networking, security, or developer tools, we want to hear from you.
