We experienced this firsthand while building and operating network infrastructure at some of the largest technology companies in the world. We watched organizations spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on VPN appliances that were fragile, complex to manage, and architecturally outdated. We saw network engineers spend weeks configuring IPsec tunnels that broke at the slightest topology change.
When WireGuard emerged as a modern VPN protocol — faster, simpler, and more secure than anything before it — we saw an opportunity to rethink enterprise networking from the ground up. Instead of hub-and-spoke, we built a mesh. Instead of complex configuration, we built automatic peer discovery. Instead of SaaS with its inherent data exposure, we built cloud-managed software that gives organizations complete control.
